Tuesday, May 13, 2008 Something that i would like to share with u guys - Part 11 MP is getting BORING~ I don't know if u guys know what projects i am working on. My group is actually doin gaming. Initially we r designing games for PSP however, i tink we will have to move it to XBOX. We will still have PSP games as part of our project but it will be a simple point-to-click games due to many limitations. Doing PSP, we will have to buy the SDK and it costs around $8000+ in the market. However, we get student package at a lower rate around $4000+. Our supervisior, find its rather expensive and dun tink the school will be able to sponsor so much on our group. After a discussing with the company, the price is kept it around $3000 and below. However still, i dun tink we r able to get SDK as the price is not yet confirmed. So, our supervisior suggested our group to change our project and focus on Xbox. Kinda no meaning for our grp. We were so excited and enthu on our project. But due to the delay in alot of things and the research that we found is rather demoralising. Alot of limitations on lots of software. Even those software that dun require any SDK to port the games over to PSP, they dun have any audio effects. If so, whats the use rite? Sigh.. Today i didnt go to school. My group managed to learn ANOTHER software which is for XBOX. Tomorrow when i go back, i still nid to work on PSP thingy n den learn the new program. We went thru lots of writing of emails and research on PSP. but somehow, it gonna be a little waste for our groups. But still, if teacher dun wanna fight for us, theres nth much we can do too regardless how persistant we want for our project :(( GSS is coming soon. and i simply cant wait. Got things in mind tt i wanna get. Hopefully can get it at a cheaper rate. Better work MORE this month. J8 Baleno is closing soon. Next wed will be my last day of work at Bishan. Kinda dun bear to leave that place cos that place holds alot of good memories. Sigh. Wonder if my new working place will have the same environment that i wish for...? Wish me luck den... ;) Hope everyone are doing fine. Do keep me updated and ask me out cos i always go home after my MP or even go work after that.
