Friday, September 15, 2006 LEAD CAMP LEAD CAMP B4 the 1st day of the camp,i was busy shopping n packing the things tt was needed for the 5 days camp!! N i'm oso pretty sure tt i will get to use those things quite often too instead of my sis ones. Though i nid to report there at 10am but still,i didnt take a day off to pack my stuffs etc. I worked work shift as usual and after i came back home from work,i continued to pack my stuffs. I remembered tt i slept around 1plus or so... haha~ It is not bcos i am too excited till i cnt sleep. I just keep double check if i missed out anything for the camp. haha~ Esp the number of tops n bottoms tt i must bring! N at the end of my packing,my bag is really HUGE lah. Like i am gg hiking tt type of bag. It really looked weird n big for me lah.. But no choice,cos i really got many things to bring.. N i am really very worried tt how pl might looked at me sia. Cos LEAD camp is a 2 day 1 night camp and i tink no one noe tt me n my fren,shidah is gg to two camps on one straight go sia.. N i was right. The min i reached there,everybody kept starring at me one kind.. But luckily,i saw one guy which is from the ESC camp.. lolx~ He recognised me n even noe tt i am gg n telling pl tt me n my fren is gg to another camp after this LEAD camp. N everybody was like.. wah.... haha~ N some pl even said we r siao.. gosh... :( The min we entered the LT26, all of us was watching a HINDI movie called KRRISH. It was hilarious.. very dramatic n everybody enjoyed it!! haha~ all i can say,it is really very nice!! I enjoyed it very much... Filled with many laughter in the LT room while watching ;) We waited for almost everybody to be there for an hour or so.. In the end,not everybody who emailed turned up. N we began to get separated into diff groups! We were all grouped up into group of four and our group were called the DA VINCI.. wohoo~ These were my members =D... managed to ask em to take a grp pix at the end of the camp!! (pix) After tt,we were all brought to our room to put our stuffs n of cos ice-breaking games! After tt again..., we were all called to the canteen to eat!! Gosh.. the FOOD was whooo.. DELICIOUS.. PASTA!! Yum yum!! Too bad tt i didnt take a pix of it n also too bad tt i didnt eat alot. haha~ just dun have appetite!! All i can say, i didnt expect tt i get to enjoy such a good food in CAMP. it was really my 1st time.. lolx~ Reali thanks to KUMAR n his food admin team for the hard work. More games was coming up after we filled our stomach. But b4 that,we went back to our room to design n paint our FLAG.... Once we quickly finished up doing it,we nid to get ready to spend the night at PASIR RIS PARK.. It will be a 24hr camp!! WOhoo~ In fact, we walked all the way from our sch to PASIR RIS PARK. Yes,u guys might tink tt we r crazy. Initally,i was thinking tt way too. I was kinda worried tt i might get tired out and even nid to walk in the middle of late nite OUTSIDE.. Gosh.. i was very frighten of DARK.. Pitch dark smmore.. Haiz... BUT.. guess i am thinking too much.. why do i say so? Bcos the walk was indeed very FUN.. haha~ Though it was a LONG n TIRING journey but u end up not feeling bored with all the GREAT pl tt u spend with tt night.. Thanks to shidah's group,some of the leaders n of cos my group, DA VINCI! I played n sang SAM LEE's song with LEX... Have nice chat with DAVID. From there,i get to noe em better. Besides tt,i oso got the chance to catch up with the rest of the members. It was really fun!! Once we reached the park, all of us were given a box of nasi lemak for our supper. Gosh.. I tot i will get to lose some weight due to the never ending games and non-stop of sweats throughout the camp BUT afterall,i didnt eat much in the camp too. Cos i am simply too tired to eat... :P After that,we r back to play games again. We had to play the maze games,climb all the way up the spider web thingy and even nid to walk thru the mangrove swamps! The thought of climbing this n tt, and even nid to walk thru the mangrove swamp really freak out me man. Well,though it may sound nth big deal to u but it really matters to me lah. I get very scared when i nid to climb this n tt whereby i dun hv much confidence on doing that. Besides tt,i even clinged on one of the leaders when we were walking into the mangrove swamps and I DID IT.. haha~ After all the games etc, all of us was assembled at one big area.. While waiting for the last few teams to reach,i took a rest.. But,i just couldnt slp while sitting up or even hv anything for me to lean on to slp. When everybody is backed,we nid to walk again back to INTERCHANGE.. phew~ i tot wat sia.. lolx~ Den again on our way back home,i had fun chatting with SHAFARI.. n the rest.. had non-stop of laughter... haha~ N with my dearest SHIDAH.. My great camp partner!!Cnt go w/o her lah.. haha~ All of was tired and the min when we board the bus,i immediately knocked out on shidah's shoulder.. WOoo... all i can say it is so comfortable n relaxing.. Finally can get some rest!! N do u noe what? We really stink in the bus man.. lolx~ We immediately get washed out n get some rest b4 the finale games.. We were given more than 3 hours or so.. All of was so tired lah.. I went to shidah's room to chat with the rest n ended up sleeping SOUNDLY!! haa~ we suppose to report at LT26 at 11.20am but we ended up late.. haha~ we faster get washed up again n head our way there.. We had WATER GAMES.. it was fun lah.. we threw water bomb on everybody n i was kinda suay leh.. Ganna 3half-pails of water by GAY.. gosh.. i dunoe what is gg on in his mind.. His target was me.. i was fully WET.. haha~ No matter who won,all of us had fun lah.. haha~ After tt,we were called to wash up again n report outside the LT.. All of us was sitted around in a circle and everyone was given a postcard.. Each and everyone of us nid to write sth abt tt particular someone n passed it around. After that,each and everyone of us nid to say sth abt the camp.. As in how i feel abt the camp. I cant reali rmb what i said abt the camp.. But to me, the camp was well-organised n well-planned. Everything is FUN n i reali enjoyed the camp. I get to noe many frenz thru here n i oso get to overcome my phobia. It was GREAT being here in the camp. I didnt regret signing up for this camp! But too bad the camp was short.. Hopefully when there is another LEAD Camp,i hope it will be 3 days or so.. I wouldnt mind if its long but hopefully we get notified tt there will be a 24hr day camp. haha~ All of us really were relunctant to leave at tt moment.. We took pix n exchange phone no n emails. I cried but no one saw.. Luckily.. N straight after this camp,i went to another camp and that was the ESC camp.. Everybody tot i'm siao cos they all knew tt i didnt sleep for the past 31 hr already.. N yet i can tahan for the another camp!! GAY n PANG was surprised. Dun be surprised alright. Dun see tt i big size hor.. i get hyper up when it comes to game!! :D to be continued abt my ESC camp!! p.s:Initally,i was very worried tt i couldnt adapt to camp. smmore this is my 1st camp in poly. to some of u guys,u guys noe tt i got low self-esteem lah. Reali mind alot on how i looked etc lah. I dun look tt pretty or in gd shape. But pl said i'm cute which i cant deny :P.. But after this camp,my mind totally changed to the BETTER.. I began to love CAMPS.. This is my 1st 24hr camp. This is the 1st camp tt i enjoyed myself so much. this is my 1st time tt i get to noe so many frenz... this is my 1st time i get to overcome my phobia though there is room for improvement.. I really love all of em lah. They really make this camp possible n fun!! They r da best!! ;) I went to read all they hv written on the postcard.. They make me wanna cry..
